13 Reasons Why

Life-changing and unforgettable
In one sentence, “13 Reasons Why” has been life-changing. What was supposed to be a meaningless Sunday afternoon series has taught me about vital aspects of life.
By showing the life of a high-school “friend” group, “13 Reasons Why” portrays issues like suicide, bullying, raping, gun violence, anxiety… We can see how subtly yet effectively these realities get tied up in teenagers’ lives.
The best about “13 Reasons Why” is how reflective it is. It made me realize how lucky I am with my family and friends. At the same time, “13 Reasons Why” made me wonder what I wanted to achieve and fight for in life. This series has shown me that you need to fight for what you believe in and that it is okay to ask for help when you are struggling.
However, I must accept that the four seasons have ups and downs. The first season starts up strong. The second season starts going downhill, and the third season touches the bottom. Nevertheless, you realize why you had to watch the whole series in the fourth season.
Ultimately, “13 Reasons Why” is not a cheese teenager series. It is more than that. It will be unforgettable.
