Law School

A Comfort Watch for Law Students
As a law student, I watch legal dramas as a source of motivation. They offer all my favourite things in one place: TV, couch, disconnection, and studying. Legal dramas are similar to medical series: through them, you learn interesting and fundamental things about life.
There are plenty of law K-dramas, for instance, Lawless Lawyers, Suspicious Partner, Vincenzo, and May It Please The Court. However, I can say that Law Faculty is by far the best law k-drama I have watched (well, it’s maybe tied with Vincenzo).
What is it that makes the Law School K-drama stand out? First of all, it has a refreshing cast. Of course, there are plenty of famous actors, but there are a lot of newbies too, and that’s nice to see, since lately I feel like all series have the same actors.
Secondly, the plot is surreal. It’s the perfect combination of comedy, mystery, and romance. Nevertheless, what I liked the most about this series plot was the different topics it touches. Law series tend to repeat the same struggles over and over again: murders, corruption, etc. However, the Law School has the bravery to address sexual assaults and the problem of what to do with a criminal after serving their sentence.
Thirdly, and lastly, Law School is a great series for students lacking motivation. This series is like Gilmore Girls; who doesn’t watch Rory’s videos for motivation? Sometimes it’s nice to see that you aren’t the only one struggling with studying and keeping up a social life. Watching Kang Sol A study reminds me that struggling is part of the process.
I bet that you have at least seen a picture of Kang Sol A studying.
