Her Private Life
⭐⭐⭐
Romance · Drama · Comedy
Release year: 2019
Where to watch it:
Not up to its potential
To be faithful, “Her Private Life” has nothing special. The characters are funny, the story is interesting, but that’s it. It is one of those series that doesn’t contribute anything new. “Her Private Life” is good, but forgettable too.
There is something I like about it: that age doesn’t matter. Usually, we are told what we can and can’t do depending on our age. “Her Private Life” crosses age-related boundaries by showcasing the life of a fangirl in her thirties.
Apart from that, I believe the series doesn’t use all its potential. “Her Private Life” has hilarious characters but lacks comical scenes. At the same time, it has its romantic side, but again, not enough. I need more!!!
In conclusion, would I recommend “Her Private Life”? No. I got bored watching it. However, you can find worse kdramas easily.
Synopsis
A dedicated professional, Sung Deok Mi lives for her work as an art gallery curator. Devoting herself to her work, she is exceptional in every way, save one. Sung Deok Mi is the ultimate Cha Shi An fangirl.
The devoted manager of a Shi An fansite, Deok Mi eats, breathes, and sleeps for Shi An. He is her sun, her moon. Her entire universe revolves around him.
This is the secret Deok Mi must hide from the world.
And hide it she does. At least until Ryan Gold, the art gallery’s new director, saunters into her life. A once famous painter, the former-artist-turned-director considers himself an indifferent being, unconcerned with the lives of others. But when he uncovers Deok Mi’s secret, everything changes.
