10 K-Dramas Perfect for a Christmas Marathon (2025 Edition)
Who is ready for a Christmas marathon? I swear I spend the whole year waiting for Christmas so I can spend two weeks rotting on my couch watching TV. I know it isn’t the healthiest habit, but with exam season ahead, I can’t get myself out of the house.
Still, picking the right series to marathon isn’t easy. They need to match your vibe, and honestly, there aren’t that many Christmas K-dramas. That’s why I’ve put together a list of the best K-Dramas to binge during Christmas 2025.
This blog is all about the 10 best K-dramas to marathon during these Holidays.

10 K-Dramas for a Marathon
1. While You Were Sleeping
I don’t think While You Were Sleeping is a very famous kdrama, but it’s quite underrated. It has a really good cast!
It’s a mix of mystery and heartwarming romance, perfect for a cozy night in. Also, it’s set in winter, so it’s perfect for watching on cold, rainy days.

2. Goblin
It’s emotional, magical, and full of beautiful winter scenes, the perfect holiday binge.

While the first two have a wintery, festive feel, the next few are simply must-watch K-dramas for any marathon. I don’t know how a person can watch K-dramas and not love this series.
3. Descendants of the Sun
Descendants of the Sun is one of my absolute favourite K-dramas. Top two, maybe, but it’s flawless for a Christmas marathon. Who else still can’t move on from Descendants of the Sun’s ending?

4. The K2
The K2 is the reason why Descendants of the Sun isn’t the top 1. This series is the best K-Drama I have ever watched. That’s why I couldn’t make this list without including The K2.
It’s fast and easy to watch. Try it out during the 2025 Christmas.

5. I Am Not a Robot
Another popular K-Drama that everyone seems to love. I Am Not a Robot is one of those flawless kdramas, the “old and reliable” kind of choice.

If you’re more into realistic, heartfelt stories instead of fantasy, these next few are perfect. Since my exam season starts in January, I have to spend Christmas studying. Medical dramas are perfect for that moment, full of studying, hard work, and characters figuring out their lives.
6. Hospital Playlist
Hospital Playlist is one of those options. It became really famous when it first aired, and it definitely earned its popularity.

7. Resident Playbook
Resident Playbook is the second option for a medical kdrama. If Hospital Playlist centers on doctors, Resident Playbook (as the name suggests) focuses on medical residents and students.

8. Dr. Romantic
The previous two options are great, but if I had to choose a medical kdrama, Dr. Romantic would be it. It has three seasons (which is quite rare in the Korean entertainment industry), so you can guess it’s really good. There’s something so comforting about its mix of chaos, heart, and healing.

To finish the recommendations, we have the unpopular options. These are more like comfort series, the kind you pick when you are feeling low or lost, and you need something to lift you up.
9. True to Love
True to Love has comedy, romance, and maturity. I have recently watched it and I instantly fell in love with it.

10. Gank Your Heart
I know Gank Your Heart isn’t a K-Drama, but I think it’s my number 1 comfort series. I don’t know why, but every time I watch it (and yes, I have watched it at least 5 times), I feel motivated and energized.

For me, Christmas isn’t just about gifts or lights; it’s about slowing down and watching stories that make me feel something. And K-Dramas always do. Which of these K-dramas would you binge this Christmas? Or do you have your own go-to comfort series? Let me know in the comments!
